  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • ½ tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 15 oz jar salsa
  • 2 cups shredded tex-mex cheese
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce (optional)
  • 1 tomato, diced (optional)
  • ¼ cup olives, sliced (optional)
  • ¼  cup jalapeno, sliced (optional)
  1. Scoop out the cream cheese and place it in a bowl, whisking it until smooth.
  2. Add the sour cream and taco seasoning, mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto the bottom of an appropriate sized dish.
  4. Evenly disperse the salsa on top of the cream cheese mixture, then top that with the shredded cheese. Optional: add your other toppings.
  5. Cover the dish refrigerate it for about 30-40 minutes until the cream cheese has firmed a bit.
  6. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
